BuildShift Notes — Offline Construction Shift Handover

BuildShift Notes keeps day and night construction crews aligned without a subscription. It is a single-file app that opens in a desktop browser and stores records locally.

Record each shift: crew counts and hours by trade; completed work with quantities and units; materials received or used; equipment hours; delays, safety and quality observations; and unresolved actions for the next crew. Unfinished handover actions carry forward automatically.

Export a clean A4 report to print or save as PDF. Export saved shifts to CSV. Back up and restore all records as JSON.

Works offline. No account, server, telemetry or subscription. Download the ZIP, extract it and open index.html in a current desktop browser. Sample data is included so you can try the workflow first.

Important: Records stay in that browser’s local storage. Export a backup regularly. The app does not sync across devices. Review reports against your contract and local requirements.
